Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our High-Level Investigation, Content team. As a Data Analyst, you'll play a critical role in driving business success by applying advanced analytical techniques to large-scale, high-dimensional data sets. You'll work closely with our content team to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions, and develop data-driven solutions to drive growth and improvement.

Key Responsibilities

* Apply advanced analytical techniques (data mining, data visualization, statistical analysis, AI) to large-scale, high-dimensional data sets to drive business decisions

• Examine customer behavior (e.g., viewing patterns, engagement metrics) to identify untapped customer needs and untapped content opportunities
• Anticipate content engagement to inform acquisition decisions
• Develop and implement data-driven solutions to improve content launch and episode release processes
• Test marketing strategies to improve engagement and retention
• Ideate and develop new metrics and KPIs to measure content performance for both strategic and tactical decision-making
• Provide impromptu analytical support to partners to drive business growth
• Effectively communicate results through compelling data storytelling across the organization

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field

• At least 3 years of experience in data analysis, with a strong background in statistical analysis and AI techniques
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with R and Python
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and apply creativity to solve complex problems
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field

• Experience with machine learning algorithms and deep learning techniques
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud)
• Experience with data governance and data quality initiatives
• Strong passion for media and entertainment, with a desire to apply analytical skills to drive business growth and improvement
