The Opportunity Job Description Southern New Hampshire University is looking for faculty to teach in our General Education courses specifically in the area of Humanities. Our online faculty provide high-quality academic experiences and supports students as they work toward their educational goals. As an online faculty member, you will work collaboratively in a supportive academic environment, partnering with student advising and the academic team to ensure that each student has the support, tools, and resources they need to be successful. Currently seeking instructors for the following courses: HUM-102 Self, Society, and the Humanities HUM-215 Culture and Creativity HUM-260 Cultural Contexts and Creative Expression In this Role You'll Get To:

• Provide a high level of student outreach and connect with students, academic advisors and team leads on a frequent basis to ensure student success
• Engage and offer an increased and innovative presence in the classroom
• Provide substantial student feedback and offer a quick turnaround on grades

What we're Looking For:

• Master's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, Cultural Studies, Fine Arts, or Humanities from an accredited higher education institution
• Minimum one year of online teaching experience at the college level
• Minimum one year of experience teaching Humanities
• Experience working with Gen Ed learners

Compensation: The standard compensation for courses is $2,200 per 8-week undergraduate course. Undergraduate adjuncts are paid bi-weekly and are considered W-2 employees of Southern NH University.
