09/29/2023 PARAPROFESSIONAL, INSTRUCTIONAL AIDE/CLASSROOM ? Seven (7) hours per day, student work days plus ten paid holidays, with additional hours/days as may be assigned. Compensation will be in accordance with the Board approved salary schedule ($14.98 - $15.99 per hour plus an additional $0.50 per hour when assigned to preschool and/or intensive needs). Current opening is at Liberty Elementary. Health Benefits are available. Earned sick leave and personal leave. A paraprofessional license (Educational Aide Permit) with an ESEA Qualified endorsement through the Ohio Department of Education is required. Employment is contingent upon the results of a Criminal Background Check ($55) and the ability to obtain a paraprofessional license with the required ESEA qualified endorsement ($25) with assistance of the District. The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or non-prescribed controlled substance in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the District. In addition, the employee shall be free of any substance, prescribed or otherwise, that impairs the employee?s work performance or the safety of others while on duty.
