We’re looking for a Software Developer (.NET) to help build, enhance, and support ProHome’s proprietary software platform. In this role, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and both internal and external users to design scalable solutions, deliver high-quality code, and continuously improve the user experience.You’ll be part of an agile development environment where ownership, collaboration, and problem-solving are valued. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing hands-on development with troubleshooting, documentation, and user support.
What You’ll Do:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain web and mobile applications using C# and .NET.
- Translate business and technical requirements into well-structured development plans.
- Write clean, efficient, unit-tested code following modern development best practices.
- Enhance and support existing applications and introduce new features and improvements.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and timely delivery of assigned work.
- Perform functional and non-functional testing to ensure performance, quality, and scalability.
- Create and maintain technical and user-facing documentation.
- Support beta testing, user acceptance testing, and software releases.
- Provide Tier 1 technical support using a ticketing system and ensure timely issue resolution.
- Assist with training internal and external users on new systems and features.
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, workflows, and overall platform performance.
- 2+ years of experience developing applications using C# and .NET.
- 2+ years of experience with ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, and SQL Server.
- 2+ years of experience developing web applications.
- Experience with version control tools (Git).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Passion for writing readable, maintainable, low-defect code.
- Experience developing or supporting mobile applications.
- Experience with Angular or similar front-end frameworks.
- Working knowledge of SharePoint and OneDrive.
- Background in IT helpdesk or end-user support environments.
- Experience supporting Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and mobile devices (Apple & Android).
- Understanding of application security and best practices.
- Salary: $60,000–$70,000 annually (paid bi-weekly).
