Position:

Customer Service Representative – Rehab Services

Compensation:

Competitive salary and benefits package, including up to 5% retirement match and college tuition reimbursement after a year with arenaflex

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 5-8 hour shifts, with flexible scheduling to accommodate patient needs

Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative in our Rehab Services department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and business operations support. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Handling telephones and responding to patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Scheduling patient appointments and managing patient check-in processes
  • Verifying insurance coverage, obtaining authorizations, and pre-certifications for patient services
  • Managing referrals, posting charges, and initial collections for patient accounts
  • Maintaining accurate and well-coded medical records
  • Providing support for workers' compensation, commercial carriers, employee health, and corporate accounts (as needed)

Requirements

Educational Requirements:

+ High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)

Experience Requirements:

+ Less than 1 year of experience in a clerical/administrative role (Required) + Prior experience in insurance or customer service (Preferred)

Additional Requirements:

+ 1-2 years of prior experience required for Lee Health Solutions + Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required at some locations within 90 days of hire
