Responsibilities

As a Slope Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

• Providing exceptional customer service to our customers, including handling baggage, cargo, and mail
• Loading, unloading, and servicing aircraft, including fueling, cleaning, and preparing planes for departure
• Operating and maintaining equipment, such as belt loaders, air start units, and lift trucks
• Working with other teams to ensure that flights depart on schedule
• Handling and processing cargo, including loading and unloading freight and mail
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, including cleaning and sanitizing aircraft and facilities
• Performing other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

To be successful as a Slope Specialist at arenaflex, you'll need:

• A valid state driver's license
• The ability to obtain a SIDA identification and meet all local airport requirements
• The ability to lift and move objects of 70 pounds, as well as frequently lift loads of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces
• The ability to work in confined or high places
• The ability to convey heavy objects up and down jetway steps
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Previous experience in a similar role or industry
• Knowledge of aircraft operations and safety procedures
• Experience with equipment operation and maintenance
• Certification in a related field, such as aviation or logistics

Work Environment

As a Slope Specialist at arenaflex, you'll work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines. You'll be required to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays. You'll also be required to work in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, precipitation, and wind.
