Key Responsibilities

As a Luxury Brand Customer Service Representative + Shipping And Receiving Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service via phone, email, and chat, responding to inquiries, order status requests, and resolving shipping-related issues.
  • Processing and preparing customer orders accurately and efficiently, including picking, packing, and labeling shipments.
  • Coordinating with shipping carriers and logistics partners to ensure on-time and accurate deliveries to customers.
  • Addressing customer concerns, resolving issues, and escalating complex problems to the appropriate departments as needed.
  • Handling customer returns and exchanges, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for the customer and initiating the necessary steps for restocking or refurbishing returned items.
  • Inspecting outgoing shipments for accuracy, quality, and completeness to ensure customers receive the correct items in perfect condition.
  • Maintaining accurate records of shipping and receiving activities, including tracking numbers, shipping labels, and customer communication.
  • Calculating shipping costs accurately and providing customers with shipping options and cost estimates as needed.
  • Keeping customers informed of order status, shipment tracking information, and delivery expectations.
  • Addressing customer concerns and shipping-related issues promptly, working collaboratively with internal teams and logistics partners to find solutions.
  • Collecting and documenting customer feedback and insights to improve products and services.
  • Ensuring Cin7 is up to date with sales orders and branch transfers so all team members have visibility into all items on order.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; an associate's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in customer service, shipping, and receiving roles, with a minimum of 3 years in a customer-facing position.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in using shipping and inventory management software.
  • Basic knowledge of jewelry materials and components is a plus.
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  • Ability to handle customer inquiries and issues with professionalism and empathy.

Schedule

As a Luxury Brand Customer Service Representative + Shipping And Receiving Specialist, you will work a standard 8-hour shift, with opportunities for overtime as needed.

Ability to Commute

We prefer candidates who are able to commute to our Montecito, CA 93108 location. However, we are open to considering remote work arrangements for the right candidate.
