Business Operations Coordinator

Optum is focused on improving the flow of health data and information to create a more connected system. The Business Operations Coordinator will handle day-to-day administrative tasks that support the medical record retrieval business, including invoice review and coordination with provider offices.

Responsibilities

  • Invoice review
  • Data entry
  • Approve invoices based on specific business rules
  • Coordination and communication with provider offices

Skills

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older
  • 1+ years of experience in medical record retrieval, accounting OR finance background
  • Attention to detail
  • Microsoft Excel skills include V-lookups and pivot tables
  • Ability to work full time (40 hours / week), Monday - Friday
  • Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm local time
  • It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime
  • Experience with provider groups, health information management, OR claims processing
  • Knowledge of US healthcare system
  • Experience with accounts payable
