Job Description:

As an Experienced Data Entry Clerk, you'll play a critical role in supporting our Hong Kong Purchasing Office purchasing team in the organization's operations, data entry, and reporting processes. You'll be responsible for managing the Corporate Import Demand process from start to finish, ensuring that all new orders, order modifications, and new vendor account arrangements are accurate and up-to-date. You'll also serve as a liaison between our Worldwide Purchasing Workplaces, vendors, and marketing teams to resolve issues and facilitate the purchase order process.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan orders, request modifications, and new vendor account arrangements with accurate import data

  • Complete weekly schedules for order completion
  • Pack data and ensure established rules are complied with
  • Communicate orders consistently, maintaining quality of results and work efficiency
  • Collaborate with internal teams to collect and enter data required to produce a purchase order
  • Raise system issues to the appropriate teams and follow up with relevant teams when data required is not provided within a reasonable time period
  • Regularly update all relevant teams on project/task status and ensure all tasks are completed within the required time period
  • Demonstrate adaptability and willingness to help colleagues as needed, such as in cases of absence from the office

Work Requirements:

* At least 2 years of administrative experience

  • New graduates will be considered
  • HKDSE or HKCEE or above
  • Conversational English skills; other languages or Chinese dialects an asset
  • Proficient in MS Excel, with working knowledge of MS Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build both internal and external relationships
  • Ability to work independently, solve problems, suggest, and implement solutions
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and clear communicator with a drive to succeed
