Responsibilities
As a Customer Service/Sales Associate, you'll be responsible for:
- Greeting customers with a smile and providing fast, friendly service
- Qualifying customer needs and recommending products that meet their requirements
- Closing sales with every customer in your department, while also being knowledgeable about adjacent departments
- Maintaining the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe
- Providing a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies and standards, completing specified safety training, and reporting hazards or unsafe conditions to your Manager on Duty
- Working collaboratively with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department, as well as other departments
Key Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
- Strong product knowledge and sales skills, with the ability to recommend products that meet customer needs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve customer issues
- Basic math skills, with the ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or relevant experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications
* Previous customer service or sales experience, preferably in a retail or sales environment
- Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
- Familiarity with arenaflex's products and services
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze customer data and make informed decisions
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
