Job Summary

As a Mortgage Customer Service Representative II, you'll play a critical role in engaging with customers, resolving issues, and providing expert guidance on mortgage-related matters. Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to lenders, banking/mortgage institutions, and consumers, addressing their queries and concerns about HUD FHA and reverse mortgages

  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and provide timely solutions
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of mortgage products, services, and industry trends
  • Analyze and resolve customer complaints, escalating issues as necessary
  • Utilize CRM applications, related websites, and support tools to manage customer interactions and data
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

* Minimum of two years of FHA loan origination experience (loan processor, underwriter, loan officer) plus an additional year of customer service or contact center experience, OR at least three years of loan origination experience working with conventional loans and/or other government-backed loans (FHA, USDA, VA)

  • Two to four years of college or equivalent work experience
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders
  • Basic PC skills, including MS Office, and the ability to effectively navigate CRM applications and related tools
  • Effective written and verbal communication, with the ability to analyze and solve problems
  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to type 35 words per minute

Desired Qualifications

* Mortgage origination experience, with a strong understanding of industry trends and regulations

  • Experience working with CRM applications and related tools
  • Certification in mortgage origination or a related field (e.g., FHA, VA, USDA)
