Job Summary
As a Pharmacy Technician Data Entry, Customer Service Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services. You will be responsible for performing order entry tasks, collaborating with pharmacists to ensure accuracy, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients and customers. Key Responsibilities
* Perform order entry tasks and collaborate with pharmacists to ensure accuracy
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and customers
- Triage customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required
- Calculate and/or verify correct dosage based on prescriptions
- Assist in reviewing narcotic Rx's in a timely manner
- Provide dispensing pharmacists with information regarding allergies and drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other items that the computer flags
- Create and maintain accurate customer records
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operation of pharmacy services

Required Qualifications
* Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
- One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or working in a call center
Preferred Qualifications
* Prior experience in the long-term care industry
- PTCB National Certification
- Education: Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
