Channel Development Specialist

POSITION INFORMATION

The Channel Development Specialist role is a key function whose role is to attract and retain channel partner revenue through pro-active transactional engagement and develop, grow, and manage assigned accounts. ROLE MISSION

Enable clear, accurate, and timely sales execution by coordinating closely with Datalogic’s distribution partners, maintaining strong knowledge of Datalogic’s solution portfolio, and driving disciplined weekly forecasting through effective, multi-channel communication.

This role is remote US in the central or eastern time zone, subject to business travel.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage sales funnel related activities in the Datalogic CRM system to capture opportunities and business development initiatives • Support new business development by outbound prospecting to a select group of partner distributors through marketing outreach • Develop marketing initiatives and coordinate marketing activities with marketing function. • Receive inbound partner inquiries related to Datalogic products from a select group of partner accounts that Datalogic expects to retain. • Develop and manage new partners to drive revenue growth by providing training sessions with prospective partner distributors • Facilitate order bookings for Datalogic products between Datalogic partners and Datalogic distributors. • Manage relationships with assigned resellers to ensure strategic and tactical alignment and successful execution of growth strategy. • Support Key Account Manager and Channel Account Managers as needed. • Administer and manage price exceptions.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS Education (School/Specialization) Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in business, economics, marketing, or other related degree Primary Language Fluent English Experience 1 + years of similar experience
