Key Responsibilities:
* Accurately and efficiently process patient data, including demographic information, medical history, and treatment plans
- Enter patient data into our electronic health record system, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Verify patient information and resolve discrepancies in a timely and professional manner
- Assist with intake processes, including scheduling appointments and coordinating with healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions and communication
- Collaborate with our clinical team to ensure seamless patient care and optimal treatment outcomes
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and operational efficiency
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements and arenaflex policies and procedures
Essential Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Current certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or registration as a Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) in the state of Arizona
- 1-2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a specialty pharmacy or hospital setting
- Strong understanding of pharmacy operations, including data entry and intake processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and colleagues
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with specialty pharmacy operations and patient care
- Knowledge of oncology and hematology, including treatment protocols and medications
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems, including Epic and Cerner
- Certification in pharmacy technology or a related field
- Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues who speak diverse languages
