System Administrator

Job Overview: The System Administrator will lead daily system administration tasks, providing hands-on support for system maintenance and operations. Key responsibilities include configuring and maintaining Linux/Unix and Windows systems, managing Active Directory, overseeing AWS cloud infrastructure, and implementing cloud-based solutions. The role also involves ensuring communication system stability, enhancing security, automating deployments, and maintaining documentation. Additionally, the administrator will respond to technical issues, optimize connectivity, and collaborate with teams to ensure smooth operations across all systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Take the lead in day-to-day system administration tasks.
  • Provide hands-on support for system maintenance and operations.
  • Configure and maintain various operating systems including Linux/Unix and Windows.
  • Maintain and administer Hyper-V hosts and virtual Machines
  • Set up and maintain Active Directory and Domain Controllers.
  • Ensure the stability and functionality of communication systems like VOIP.
  • Manage AWS cloud network and infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Implement modern cloud-based solutions, utilizing technologies like WAF and CDN.
  • Oversee server architecture security and implement robust backup solutions.
  • Enhance deployment and configuration management through automation.
  • Maintain consistent IT processes, practices, and documentation.
  • Respond promptly to technical issues and provide effective resolutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize network connectivity.
  • Perform additional IT duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT.
  • Proficiency in Linux and Windows infrastructure management.
  • Strong understanding of AWS network and infrastructure.
  • Thorough grasp of networking concepts and devices.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible, dependable, and proactive attitude.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal communication.
