The role We are seeking an experienced, product-driven Senior iOS Engineer to join our ambitious and growing team. In this role, you will help shape the next generation of Numan’s digital health products, influencing both the technical direction and product experience. You will work in a fast-moving, collaborative environment alongside talented engineers, designers, and product leaders, with a direct impact on the company’s strategic goals. The role We are seeking an experienced, product-driven Senior iOS Engineer to join our ambitious and growing team. In this role, you will help shape the next generation of Numan’s digital health products, influencing both the technical direction and product experience. You will work in a fast-moving, collaborative environment alongside talented engineers, designers, and product leaders, with a direct impact on the company’s strategic goals. You’ll be:
  • Taking ownership of iOS architecture, ensuring scalable, maintainable, and high-performing solutions.
  • Leading the design and development of new features across the Numan app ecosystem, delivering high-quality, user-focused experiences.
  • Mentoring and coaching mid-level and junior engineers, helping the team grow their technical skills and adopt best practices.
  • Collaborating closely with product, design, and business teams to shape product strategy and influence technical trade-offs.
  • Evaluating and recommending new technologies, tools, and frameworks to maintain a cutting-edge iOS platform.
  • Ensuring code quality through rigorous reviews, automated testing, and adherence to engineering standards.
  • We’re looking for someone who has:
  • A proactive engineer who thrives in fast-moving, high-impact environments and takes ownership from conception to delivery.
  • A track record of delivering production-grade iOS apps, ideally with experience in scaling apps and handling complex architectures.
  • Strong experience with Swift and the iOS ecosystem, including frameworks, design patterns, and performance optimization.
  • A proactive approach and knowledge of best practices in code, testing, and app performance, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Previous experience mentoring, knowledge sharing, and helping shape the team’s engineering culture.
  • A passion about building products that meaningfully improve people’s lives through digital health.
  • It’s a bonus if you have:
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and app deployment to the App Store.
  • Knowledge of cross-platform considerations (e.g., SwiftUI, Combine) or integrations with back-end services.
  • Experience contributing to product strategy or technical roadmaps at a team or company level.
