Emerald Technologies is seeking a Director of Strategic Accounts to oversee major customer relationships, expand strategic partnerships, and unlock sustained revenue growth. This leader will play a central role in developing long‑range account strategies and ensuring Emerald delivers strong commercial and operational performance.

This remote role (West Coast preferred) plays a critical leadership function in shaping account strategy and is aligned to a highly competitive compensation plan.

Responsibilities

  • Owns the creation of a growth strategy for their account(s) with an overall objective of XX% year on year improvement.
  • Value Added Revenue aligned to budget objectives.
  • Owns the creation, review, and approval of all contract/commercial documents and agreements governing business between Emerald and their customer(s).
  • Owns the business development aspects of executing the account plan and advancing the relationship with the customer(s).
  • Responsible for developing the funnel to target, executing the sales process, and updating the sales funnel.
  • Responsible for opportunity management, including the development and execution of the “Opportunity Strategy” and the development and testing of the “Value Proposition.”
  • Owns responsibility for pricing, financial approvals, proposal development, and “Setting and Managing Price,” including negotiating ongoing cost adjustments and meeting financial/pricing objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA) from four-year college or university.
  • 10+ years related experience in strategic customer management.Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of production and inventory control, material and capacity requirements planning and master planning.
  • Experience in managing customer revenue growth and commercial management/execution.
  • Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to concentrate in a busy environment and stay on task.
  • Up to 30% domestic travel.
