Job Title: Social Media & Content Specialist (Multi-Brand) Location: Remote (South Africa) Salary: R20,000- R30,000 per month, dependent on experience Type: Full-time
About the Role: We are seeking a creative and proactive Social Media & Content Specialist to manage social media and brand communications across two London-based companies. You’ll produce engaging content, design simple graphics and write clear, brand-consistent copy for multiple platforms. This is a fully remote role, supporting UK hours (9 am-5 pm London time, Monday- Friday).
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, create and publish content across Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook.
- Maintain a structured content calendar for each brand.
- Produce graphics and visual assets using Figma, Canva, Adobe Express or similar tools.
- Write captions and short form copy aligned with each brand’s tone of voice.
- Maintain brand consistency across all posts and visual materials.
- Apply basic engagement strategies to improve reach and interaction.
- Liaise with internal teams to gather content ideas.
- Track and report on basic social media performance metrics.
- Suggest new content directions and improvements.
Essential Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in social media or content-focused roles.
- Portfolio of previous social media content, graphics, or related work.
- Working knowledge of Figma, Canva, Adobe Express, or similar platforms.
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Understanding of tone-of-voice and brand consistency.
- Ability to manage workload independently and support multiple brands.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail.
Desirable:
- Basic video editing skills.
- Experience supporting more than one brand.
- Familiarity with basic analytics or reporting tools.
