Coder Inpatient

Work from home Full-time role Hiring

IP coder with a minimum of recent 3 years of experience preferably with a children's hospital but at least pediatric coding experience to include PICU and NICU coding as well as pediatric surgery experience across all specialties. Will need to be experienced assigning MS and APR DRGs. Experience with Cerner and 3M 360 CAC is required. This is an estimated 6-month assignment. Schedule requirements are M-F 8 hours a day. Prefer a shift between 8a - 5p CST, can be flexible on the time within reason.

Qualifications

  1. 3 + years of children's hospital or pediatric experience including PICU/NICU
  2. MS and APR DRGs assignment experience
  3. Experience with pediatric surgeries
  4. Cerner and 3M 360 CAC
  5. Ok with a 6 month assignment
  6. Able to work M-F schedule
  7. Able to pick up new workflows and technology easily
  8. Able to ramp up productivity in 4 weeks
  9. Maintain 95% accuracy in all coding
  10. Good written and verbal communication
