Linux System Administrator - Part time work from home
Urgent requirement of a part-time “Linux system administrator” for a Germany based company. Candidate should work from home from India. Required skills:
- Minimum 3 years of experience on international server administration
- In depth knowledge of networking and computation
- Good hands on Linux features, configurations, commands
- Knowledge of several Linux distributions like Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS
- Good hands on remote server administration using SSH, SCP, RSYNC, SFTP, VNC
- In depth knowledge of SSL certificates handling
- Web hosting experience using Apache, PHP, MySQL and Nginx
- Installation and maintenance of Database systems like MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Server hardening using best security majors
- Experience on Git
Work profile:
- Maintenance of Jenkins deployment system
- Maintenance of Gerrit Code Review
- Setup and maintain projects on Bitbucket and Pipelines
- Docker’ize applications, build and maintenance of custom images on docker.io
- Installation and configuration of VPS on HostEurope, Hetzner, Godaddy etc.
- Maintenance of Dedicated servers
- Cloud hosting: AWS, Google Cloud, Linode etc.
- Setup and configuring Cloudflare for websites
- Installation and maintenance of Monitoring system like Zabbix
- Configuring automated Backups of customers’ servers and internal servers
- Setting up website/applications using Plesk
- Setting up website/applications using cPanel
- DNS management
- Installation and configuration of Graylog server
