Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Disabled Veteran Solutions (DVS) is seeking passionate and dedicated Customer Advocates to join our Customer Service Division. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for individuals seeking assistance with their healthcare needs, ensuring they receive the support necessary to navigate their options.

Responsibilities

  • Guiding them through their healthcare needs with empathy, accuracy, and professionalism
  • Navigating PCPs and medications to coordinating appointments and benefits

Skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in insurance operations or a related field
  • Proficiency in using multiple web-based platforms and tools
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent active listening and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple systems and tasks efficiently while maintaining a professional and empathetic tone
  • Genuine passion for improving the lives of others
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Background in healthcare, insurance, social work, or behavioral health
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and health benefit plans
  • Proven success in a customer service environment, especially in complex, high-volume settings
