Associate Software Developer | Louisville, KY
OnTrac is a leading provider of same-day and next-day delivery services in the U.S., and they are seeking an Associate Software Developer in Louisville, KY. The role involves coding, testing, documentation, and maintenance of applications while working closely with senior developers to enhance skills and understanding of enterprise coding standards.
Responsibilities
- Consistently write, translate, and code software programs and applications according to project and development specifications
- Monitor software performance of new and existing programs for the purpose of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging
- Administer critical analysis of test results and deliver solutions to problem areas
- Assist in the development and maintenance of user manuals and guidelines
- Perform code reviews and software QA for other developers
Skills
- College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science or software engineering, and/or 1+ years equivalent work experience
- Working technical knowledge of: C#.Net 8, PostgreSQL, TSQL, Angular
- Experience with CI/CD (Azure DevOps a plus)
- Hands on experience working in integrated development environments
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases and data structures
- Hands-on software troubleshooting experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to conduct research into software-related issues and products
- Highly self-motivated and self-directed
- Demonstrate a keen attention to detail
- Open to direction and constructive criticism for self-improvement
- Demonstrate proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
