Account Executive
Stanton is a top mid-sized public relations and marketing agency, ranked among the top 10 Financial PR Firms by O’Dwyers. They are seeking a motivated junior professional to support clients across various industries, focusing on media outreach and client communication.
Responsibilities
- Actively play a significant role in multiple accounts and quickly grow into a client-facing role
- Proactively handle media outreach to trade, business, and broadcast outlets to secure press coverage
- Develop and draft story angles, press releases, byline articles, newsletters, presentations, media briefing materials
- Review and synthesize data from new or existing client research and materials
- Manage media contact databases, with primary responsibility for updating media contact information to maintain currency
- Monitor media relations results and produce appropriate reports
- Ability to multi-task, problem-solve and deliver top quality work - in a fast-paced environment
Skills
- At least one year of experience, ideally within an agency setting
- Ability to multi-task, problem-solve and deliver top quality work - in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of the media industry and ongoing readership of major outlets
- Business-to-business or financial services public relations experience preferred
