Senior Specialist, Store Construction (APLA)

This position is located at our beautiful Worldwide Headquarters campus in Beaverton, OR. The team works on-site Monday–Thursday, with optional work-from-home on Fridays. WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON Build and develop project budgets for new stores and remodels, documenting financial status throughout each project and contributing to annual reporting Create, refine, and improve Store Development processes to drive clarity, consistency, and efficiency Maintain and manage the department’s project reporting database in Airtable Partner with territory stakeholders, Real Estate, and Finance to finalize project cost models before presenting them to the monthly Real Estate Committee Keep final project costs updated in the APLA GEO database to ensure a reliable, country-level construction cost benchmark Manage vendor setup, PO creation, invoice processing, and related documentation in Coupa Serve as the central point of contact for financial questions connected to new and remodel projects Support the Store Development team by setting up new vendors and maintaining an up‑to‑date vendor directory for each country Deliver complete project closeout packages, including final cost reconciliations, punch lists, warranties, and manuals Produce required status overview reports and supply capital investment information for annual space budgets Contribute to process improvement initiatives and program implementations Support both Store Development and Concepts teams in deploying new concepts, establishing processes, managing documentation, and coordinating cross‑functional partners WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH This position serves as the primary point of contact for all project‑related financial inquiries and reports to the Sr. Manager, Construction. The Sr. Specialist will collaborate daily with a diverse team across WHQ in Beaverton and multiple countries. The role partners closely with Store Development, Finance, Controlling, Facilities, and other cross‑functional teams to keep work flowing and aligned. WHAT YOU BRING Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration or related field; will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training 2 years of previous experience as a quantity surveyor, construction supervisor, financial controller, or other role related to procurement (construction experience is a plus) Prior experience in a corporate, multi-cultural organization preferred Understanding of contracts and financial reports is a MUST Computer proficient: Excellent knowledge of MS Excel is required; basic knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Smartsheet is needed Airtable experience is required Must possess leadership, organizational, communication, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to work with and through others to ensure that the desired results from the implementation of projects (people / process / technology / financial) are achieved We offer a number of accommodations to complete our interview process including screen readers, sign language interpreters, accessible and single location for in-person interviews, closed captioning, and other reasonable modifications as needed. Responsibilities

Requirements
