Senior Vice President, Chief Technology Officer

Leads the technology strategy for VSP Vision, ensuring all IT initiatives support business objectives and are delivered efficiently and within budget

This Position Reports to the Chief Administration Officer

* Work with the Global Executive Team to ensure alignment between the business's long-term strategy and system/project roadmap Partner with Line of Business (LOB) CIOs and enterprise shared service leaders to identify IT needs and drive the delivery of scalable, enterprise-wide technology solutions Acts as the primary technology partner for all VSP Global Shared Services organizations, delivering technology solutions that support business objectives Develop and implement technical and business plans for applications, computer systems, hardware, software, and processes that meet the enterprise-wide business needs for support of VSP Vision Lead the company's digital, data, and AI efforts to enable innovation, operational excellence, and strategic growth Maintain agreed-upon system availability standards for all critical enterprise systems supporting VSP Vision Work closely with the CISO to facilitate security standards for VSP Vision applications and infrastructure Ensure critical systems for VSP Vision are adequately covered by a Disaster Recovery Plan Manage the Enterprise Portfolio Management group (EPMO) to ensure consistent application of PM processes and tools Drive or support projects to further the business objectives prioritized by the Enterprise Portfolio Management group (EPMO) Partner with the LOB CIOs to provide overall governance for enterprise platforms such as SAP Supply Chain & Financials, Salesforce, Workday, M365, etc. Manages the attraction, retention, and development of a high-performance workforce Develops and monitors succession planning process for top leadership positions Develops top leadership through selection, coaching, and reinforcement Job Specifications Typically has the following skills or abilities: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business, or related field, or equivalent experience 10 or more years of experience with clear progression to senior leadership/management roles, leading and motivating cross-functional interdisciplinary teams to achieve strategic goals Comprehensive conceptual knowledge of Information Technology, with recent evidence of the application of AI to accelerate business value Comprehensive knowledge of data-driven business systems and processes, especially industry “best practices” Strong, demonstrated skills in implementing digital technology to achieve business objectives Demonstrated strategic planning capabilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Clean credit history as reported by credit report VSP Vision is an equal opportunity employer and gives consideration for employment to qualified applicants without regard to age, gender, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.
