Job Summary

We're looking for a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk to assist our management team, sales staff, and other departments with various administrative tasks. As a Data Entry Clerk, you'll be responsible for performing data entry, generating and validating invoices, coordinating documents, and providing clerical support. Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for the following key tasks:

  • Data Entry: Coordinate all data entry of invoicing and related documents, including working with the General Manager on related office tasks.
  • Order Processing: Receive calls, faxes, e-mails, or walk-in requests for orders, order changes, adjustments, and cancellations directly from customers and input orders into the system.
  • Invoice Processing: Process invoices, delivery, or will call documentation.
  • Follow-up and Coordination: Follow up with drivers, sales reps, and customers to ensure they receive their orders when pending invoices are un-scanned on the invoice tracker.
  • Document Validation: Help validate invoices and other pertinent documents relating to all deliveries and/or pickups.
  • Claims and Credits: Follow up and process all claims and/or credits on time.
  • Driver Log Sheets: Confirm driver log sheets with invoices delivered (including signed PODs. If missing, contact Driver).
  • Daily Spreadsheets: Update other daily spreadsheets, if any.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you'll need to meet the following minimum qualifications:

  • Education: Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
  • Experience: One to two years of related experience and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Computer Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet programs.
  • Office Equipment: Familiarity with and ability to use general office equipment, such as copy machines, fax machines, stamp machines, automatic typewriters, and 10-key punch.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with customers, vendors, and employees.
  • Math Skills: Knowledge of basic cash/check handling or basic math/algebraic equations.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

  • Bachelor's degree: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business administration or computer science.
  • Data Entry Experience: Previous experience in data entry, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer Service: Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
