Key Responsibilities
As a Phone Customer Service Representative, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Engaging with customers via inbound phone calls to encourage subscription retention and minimize cancellations
- Utilizing excellent communication skills to build rapport with customers and address their concerns
- Identifying and anticipating customer needs to provide personalized solutions
- Effectively prioritizing work time to ensure productivity standards are achieved
- Making customers feel valued and appreciated through exceptional customer service
- Collaborating with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
- Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Strong computer navigation skills and PC knowledge
- Passionate about helping others and delivering exceptional customer service
- Ability to speak in a pleasant tone, retain composure, and gain the confidence of the customer
- Proficient ability to read, write, and speak the English language
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment and thrive in a team-oriented culture
- Customer Service background or experience working with people
- Ability to work remotely or in one of our facilities located in Boone, Des Moines, Tipton, or Wilton
- Must live within the state of Iowa, with preference within 60 miles of one of our locations
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable:
- Experience working in a customer-facing role, preferably in a call center environment
- Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software and other relevant tools
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Bilingual or multilingual skills
