Key Responsibilities

As a Phone Customer Service Representative, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging with customers via inbound phone calls to encourage subscription retention and minimize cancellations
  • Utilizing excellent communication skills to build rapport with customers and address their concerns
  • Identifying and anticipating customer needs to provide personalized solutions
  • Effectively prioritizing work time to ensure productivity standards are achieved
  • Making customers feel valued and appreciated through exceptional customer service
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Strong computer navigation skills and PC knowledge
  • Passionate about helping others and delivering exceptional customer service
  • Ability to speak in a pleasant tone, retain composure, and gain the confidence of the customer
  • Proficient ability to read, write, and speak the English language
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment and thrive in a team-oriented culture
  • Customer Service background or experience working with people
  • Ability to work remotely or in one of our facilities located in Boone, Des Moines, Tipton, or Wilton
  • Must live within the state of Iowa, with preference within 60 miles of one of our locations

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable:

  • Experience working in a customer-facing role, preferably in a call center environment
  • Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software and other relevant tools
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
