The Customer Service Associate is the frontline ambassador of arenaflex. Key Responsibilities

Guest Interaction & Service Excellence

  • Warmly greet every guest, creating an inviting environment that encourages repeat visits.
  • Listen actively to customer requests, resolve complaints promptly, and apply arenaflex’s proven GREAT service recovery model.
  • Provide accurate information about product offerings, promotions, and store services.
  • Assist customers with fuel purchases, lottery tickets, gift card activations, and other ancillary services.

Cashier and Transaction Management

  • Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system efficiently: scan items, bag merchandise, and process cash, credit, debit, and mobile payments.
  • Maintain accurate cash drawer balances, perform end‑of‑shift reconciliations, and ensure change machines are stocked.
  • Verify age‑restricted purchases (tobacco, alcohol) by requesting proper identification in compliance with federal and state regulations.

Food & Beverage Preparation

  • Prepare made‑to‑order food and beverages in accordance with standardized recipes and customer specifications.
  • Monitor inventory levels for coffee, pastries, and other consumables; restock and ensure all stations remain fully supplied.
  • Maintain equipment (coffee brewers, thermal carafes, ovens) to guarantee optimal performance and safety.

Store Maintenance & Merchandising

  • Stock shelves, coolers, bakery cases, and impulse‑buy displays, ensuring attractive presentation and product freshness.
  • Execute regular cleaning tasks—sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal—to uphold a spotless, safe environment.
  • Inspect product codes, rotate stock, remove expired items, and document disposal in alignment with safety standards.

Safety, Quality & Compliance

  • Adhere to arenaflex’s safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment when handling hot or hazardous items.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or quality concerns to management immediately.
  • Participate in ongoing training covering FSRA processes, food safety, and quality assurance procedures.

Team Collaboration & Communication

  • Partner with store managers and fellow associates to achieve daily operational goals.
  • Communicate guest feedback, inventory needs, and operational challenges effectively.
  • Contribute ideas for process improvements, promotional displays, and community outreach initiatives.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Current high school diploma or equivalent (or actively pursuing).
  • Experience: Prior food‑service or customer‑service experience is highly desired, though not mandatory.
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 16 years old.
  • Reliability: Proven dependable transportation and ability to work scheduled shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Physical Capability: Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 35 lb, and perform repetitive motions such as reaching, bending, squatting, and operating equipment.
