Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Chat Support Associate, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging with our community of veterinary professionals through live chats, phone calls, emails, internal discussion boards, and platform demos to provide exceptional support and guidance.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner, ensuring a positive and delightful experience for every user.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to help evolve our platform and improve the overall user experience.
  • Providing proactive support and guidance to help our users make informed purchasing decisions and navigate our platform with ease.
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on the latest features and functionality of our platform.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 1 year of relevant, customer-facing work experience, preferably in a tech or start-up environment.
  • A 2-year Associate's Degree or 4-year College Degree in a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Experience in chat support is preferred, but not required.
  • Patience and compassion when handling difficult situations, with a strong desire to help our customers succeed.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and manage many concurrent responsibilities in a fast-paced team environment.
  • A positive attitude and one-for-all team mentality, with excellent collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience working with intercom or other chat platforms.
  • Tech or start-up work experience, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
