Remote Finance Analyst

This role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting on stablecoin operations, which is essential for both regulatory compliance and managing stakeholder relationships. The selected candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with teams in finance, engineering, and operations, contributing to the development and management of a robust accounting framework. • Act as the primary preparer for stablecoin-related accounting and reporting activities.
• Use advanced Google Sheets skills to handle large data sets efficiently.
• Resolve diverse accounting issues by evaluating multiple solution paths.
• Prepare and record stablecoin customer flows and related cash movements.
• Perform detailed reconciliations to support accurate reporting.
• Prepare monthly stablecoin reserve reports and support auditing.
• Verify reporting accuracy for existing and newly launched products.
• Conduct fluctuation analyses to ensure general ledger accuracy.
• Support SOX compliance, SEC reporting, and tax activities.
• Contribute to special accounting projects and ad-hoc analyses.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of relevant public accounting or industry experience in crypto.
• Experience with monthly stablecoin attestations.
• Direct experience in data-intensive reconciliations.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in creating and editing SQL queries.
• Strong proficiency with Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
