As a Customer Service Representative – Tethered, you will be the eyes and ears for our team, fielding customer inquiries and finding innovative ways to respond. Your Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative – Tethered, your key responsibilities will include:
- Fielding customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, and social media to resolve their questions or concerns
- Calmly attempting to resolve and de-escalate any issues that may arise
- Escalating interactions when necessary and appropriate
- Responding to requests for assistance and/or processing payments
- Tracking all call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes
- Providing feedback on call issues
- Upselling when required
What We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- IT/Network certifications/degrees preferred
- 18 years of age or older
- Proven call center experience
- Typing 25 WPM
- Proficiency in PC operation and navigation
- Entry-level network troubleshooting
- Ability to set up home Wi-Fi network
- Ability to set up and configure a router or switch
- Core proficiency with a laptop or desktop computer
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent communications skills, both oral and written
- Ability to work in a constantly changing and fast-paced environment
- Ability to stay composed and objective
- Strong listening skills
- Ability to work remotely in a virtual team environment
