Key Responsibilities
As an Experienced Loan Consultant II, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Greeting, assisting, and soliciting individuals entering the office and calling by phone; receiving and processing credit and employment verifications, and recording information obtained.
- Processing payments, distributions, and making recommendations regarding loan approvals.
- Approving loans up to established lending limits and completing loan closings.
- Handling account activities related to collection accounts, including phone calls and face-to-face communications with customers.
- Preparing reports, correspondences, transaction documentation, and recording and filing documentation; operating a cash drawer, processing bank deposits, maintaining records and balances, and closing the branch.
- Actively marketing all branch products and services to individuals.
- Performing all other duties as assigned by management.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- 2-4 years of experience in consumer finance or a related field.
- Strong cash handling, computer, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word Applications.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:
- An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree.
- Bilingual, Spanish/English.

Compensation and Perks
As an Experienced Loan Consultant II, you'll enjoy a competitive salary range of $20.00 - $24.00 per hour, based on your specific knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience. You'll also be eligible for Quarterly Incentive compensation based on individual and company performance guidelines. Additionally, you'll receive:
