Key Responsibilities:

As an Experienced Data Entry and Claims Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Processing claims and maintaining accurate records in a timely and efficient manner
  • Verifying dates, names, salary figures, and other information provided by groups to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Applying policy provisions for effective dates, evidence of insurability, and other pertinent information to determine necessary changes
  • Determining eligibility and confirming effective dates for benefit elections based on contractual guidelines
  • Utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills to create and modify member level records across multiple products, applications, and platforms
  • Maintaining a high level of productivity while performing repetitive tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Collaborating with internal teams and clients to resolve issues and provide exceptional customer service
  • Staying up-to-date with regulatory requirements and completing necessary training to ensure compliance

Essential Qualifications:

* High School or GED (Minimum Required)

  • No prior experience required, but a strong desire to learn and grow with our team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative style
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and use sound judgment regarding sensitive information
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous experience in data entry, claims processing, or a related field

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance procedures
  • Experience working with multiple systems and applications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under stress in emergency, critical, or hazardous situations
