Job Summary

As a Full Stack Customer Service Representative, you'll play a critical role in responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional service experiences. You'll be responsible for handling a wide range of customer interactions, from billing and payment inquiries to emergency calls and service requests. Key Responsibilities

* Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat, providing accurate and timely resolutions to their issues

  • Investigate and resolve billing and payment discrepancies, including meter read and other requests related to billing accuracy
  • Handle emergency calls and provide support to customers in crisis situations
  • Process customer move-ins, adds, and transfers, as well as refunds, compensation requests, and changes to accounts
  • Route escalated customer issues for resolution and provide referrals for special programs, such as Energy Assistance and Dollar Energy
  • Process order inquiry calls, initiate service orders, and provide service order status updates
  • Assist customers with credit and payment arrangements, and direct them to self-service channels as necessary
  • Meet individual deadlines, metrics, and team goals, while multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively
  • Work cooperatively in a group environment to achieve common goals and promote a positive work environment

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

  • One year of customer service experience, with a strong focus on problem-solving and conflict resolution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including navigating multiple tabs, windows, and systems
  • Ability to type a minimum of 25 WPM (words per minute)
  • Must be 18 years of age or older and authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

* 2-3 years of call center and/or customer service experience, with a strong focus on problem-solving and conflict resolution

  • 2-5 years of previous customer service work from home experience, with a strong focus on productivity and efficiency
  • Utility experience, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices
  • Advanced computer skills, including navigating multiple tabs, windows, and systems
  • Ability to type 60-65 WPM (words per minute)

Work Environment and Culture

* Remote work environment, with the ability to work from home and maintain a secure, private workspace

  • High-speed wired internet access (75mbps download and 15mbps upload) required, with the ability to provide proof of internet requirements
  • Smart phone required for VPN app download
  • Availability to work from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. and attend 100% of the 13-week training program
  • Punctual attendance essential, with a focus on consistent service delivery and reliability for our customers

Compensation and Benefits

* Starting pay: $21.00 per hour (Traditional CSR role) or $22.20 per hour (Bilingual CSR role), with an additional one-time $500 sign-on bonus

  • Salary range: $34,400.00 - $48,200.00, based on several factors, including skills, job-related knowledge, and relevant experience
