Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a UPS Technician located in Mississauga, ON. The UPS Technician will be responsible for installing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and maintaining uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems and battery solutions. Key duties include diagnosing system issues, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, conducting system testing, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Additionally, the role involves documenting service activities and collaborating with the technical team to resolve complex problems and support high-availability environments.

Qualifications

  • Experience with critical power systems, including UPS systems, battery installations, and power distribution
  • Strong skills in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
  • Understanding of safety and regulatory compliance standards related to electrical systems
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical teams, clients, and stakeholders
  • Technical certifications or training in electrical or power systems engineering
  • Previous experience in data centers, industrial facilities, or high-availability environments is an asset
  • Willingness to work on-site in Mississauga, ON and travel to client locations as required
