Our Tech Stack

Our tech stack is a combination of TypeScript (node.js and React) and Python, hosted in a scalable and distributed multi-cluster Kubernetes environment. We don't expect everyone to have prior experience in all of our tools, but we expect fundamental competency and intellectual curiosity.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Engineer on our Customer Data Platform team, you'll be responsible for:

  • Pioneering Integrations: Design and develop integrations with new core banking systems of record, ensuring seamless data exchange and minimizing manual effort.
  • API Wrapper Optimization: Optimize our API wrapper to route traffic, orchestrate reads and writes to core banking systems of record, and maintain a strong API boundary (abstraction layer).
  • Monitoring and Alerting: Implement monitoring, alerting, and anomaly detection to better respond to operational incidents and ensure high system availability.
  • Automation and Optimization: Implement automations and optimizations to reduce repetitive manual effort, including boilerplate generation and configuration intake.
  • Low-Latency Configuration Database: Contribute to our low-latency and up-to-date configuration database that defines client-specific setup, shared by our entire platform.
  • Code Quality and Best Practices: Write code that is easy-to-understand, ready-for-change, and safe-from-bugs, and drive engineering best practices, including code reviews and testing methodologies.
  • Team Leadership: Guide engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning, and drive engineering best practices.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other engineering teams, product managers, designers, and UX researchers to deliver high-quality solutions.

Essential Qualifications

4+ years of experience

in full-stack development with a focus on backend systems, proficient in TypeScript.

2+ years of experience

leading projects and mentoring engineers.

Familiarity with SOAP/XML and/or core banking systems of record

is a plus.

  • Architectural Expertise: Skilled in designing scalable, robust systems and anticipating implementation challenges.
  • Database Proficient: Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.

Passionate about delivering high-quality, user-centric solutions

with a "get things done" attitude.

Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting to change

Excellent communication skills

and a team player who positively influences others.

  • Committed to writing code that is easy-to-understand, ready-for-change, and safe-from-bugs.

Hands-on experience building high-performing, scalable architectures

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with GraphQL, REST, Websockets, and event-driven Pub/Sub

Familiarity with proprietary NLP/ML shared utility services & models

Experience with proprietary RAG ingestion pipeline and search algorithm

Knowledge of Google Cloud, GitLab / CI, and Frontier LLM providers – OpenAI and Google
