Job Summary

As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in managing healthcare-related data, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with data privacy regulations. This part-time, remote position offers the perfect blend of flexibility and challenge, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home while contributing to our commitment to healthcare excellence.

Responsibilities

* Input patient information into our healthcare data management systems with accuracy and efficiency

  • Update medical records, verify prescriptions, and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations
  • Utilize Microsoft Office and other healthcare data management systems to manage patient data
  • Maintain high levels of attention to detail, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
  • Collaborate with our team to resolve data-related issues and improve data management processes
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

  • 1-2 years of experience in data entry, healthcare administration, or a related field
  • Strong typing skills (minimum 40 wpm) and accuracy in data entry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience with healthcare data management systems and electronic health records (EHRs)
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

* Prior experience in healthcare administration, data entry, or a related field

  • Certification in medical terminology, coding, or a related field
  • Experience with data analytics and reporting tools
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and data privacy laws
