Job Summary

As a Student Customer Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patrons and guests, ensuring their safety and well-being while maintaining a positive and approachable atmosphere. You will also serve as a first responder to accidents within the building and perform various duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Greet patrons and guests, ensuring their safety and well-being while maintaining a positive and approachable atmosphere

  • Assist customers with various questions and problems in customer service areas
  • Perform basic cleaning responsibilities, including trash, equipment, and laundry
  • Special event set-up and operations
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for all patrons by completing assigned shifts, duties, and enforcing facility policies
  • Serve as a first responder to accidents within the building

Essential Qualifications:

* Current American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, and Standard First Aid certifications or obtained within the first 30 days of employment

  • BBP Certification obtained within the first 30 days of employment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous customer service experience in a recreational or fitness setting

  • Knowledge of facility operations and safety protocols
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
