QA - Front End Manual Testing

RedCloud seeks a Quality Assurance Analyst, Front End Manual Testing to support immediate client operations. Overview: The Quality Assurance Analyst is a manual software tester with a strong focus on front end validation and end to end application quality. This role is responsible for executing test cases, identifying defects, validating data, and ensuring that user interfaces align with design specifications. The QA Analyst works closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to support high quality releases in an Agile environment. Candidates on EST/Virginia preferred. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Execute manual test cases across web and mobile applications throughout the full testing lifecycle
• Create, maintain, and manage test cases and test plans using a test case management tool such as TestRail or Zephyr Scale
• Identify, document, and track defects using Jira, providing clear and reproducible steps to support efficient resolution
• Validate data accuracy and backend states using SQL queries including SELECT, JOIN, and filtered queries
• Perform front end testing using Chrome Developer Tools to inspect elements, review network activity, and analyze console logs
• Conduct mobile testing using iOS simulators and Android emulators to validate responsive design and mobile specific functionality
• Test applications on physical mobile devices to identify hardware specific issues, gesture inconsistencies, and real world performance concerns
• Validate front end implementations against design tools such as Figma or Zeplin to ensure accuracy in layout, spacing, and typography
• Perform end to end testing to confirm data flows correctly from the user interface through APIs and backend systems
• Analyze requirements and functional specifications to develop thorough and effective test coverage

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Experience with manual software testing focused on front end applications
• Hands on experience with test case management tools such as TestRail or Zephyr Scale
• Strong understanding of defect lifecycle management using Jira or similar tools
• Ability to write clear, detailed, and actionable defect reports
• Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend verification
• Experience using Chrome Developer Tools for debugging and inspection
• Familiarity with mobile testing through simulators and emulators
• Experience testing on physical mobile devices
• Understanding of design to UI validation using modern design systems
• Exposure to end to end testing concepts across UI, API, and database layers
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to identify edge cases and subtle UI or UX inconsistencies
• Comfortable working in a fast paced Agile or Scrum environment
• Effective communicator who collaborates well with cross functional teams
• Self motivated and proactive, capable of working independently while contributing as a team partner

Compensation range for position is $72,000 – 80,000 DOE.
