Daily Responsibilities of a Claims Processor - Data Entry Specialist

As a Claims Processor - Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Scanning, tracking, and processing claims and claims correspondence with high accuracy and efficiency
  • Researching claims that come back with errors to identify and correct the issues
  • Entering data into our electronic records system with high speed and accuracy
  • Meeting production numbers and attendance requirements to ensure high performance
  • Entering 20 claims per hour with 97% accuracy, demonstrating exceptional data entry skills
  • Collaborating with our team to resolve any issues or concerns related to claims processing

Schedule and Pay

* Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm

  • Hourly pay: $15/hour
  • Length of assignment: 3-month contract with opportunity to extend or convert to permanent position

Requirements of a Claims Processor - Data Entry Specialist

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 6+ months of experience working in data entry, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent typing skills, with the ability to type 35+ WPM
  • Ability to work from home (WFH) with a smartphone, high-speed internet, and a private workspace
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and other infectious diseases
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with our team
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
