Location: San Jose, California or Remote Annual salary: USD 140,000 to USD 165,000 Type: Full-time Reports to: Associate Director, Publishing About this Role We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join our team as a Senior Manager, Publishing to support our game publishing initiatives and partner relationships. This role offers opportunities to work on major game releases with renowned IPs, grow original IP, and contribute to a world-class publishing organization. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about gaming, franchise development, creative, and collaborating with a cross-functional team to drive the GTM process.   • Collaborate with IP Partners: Drive relationships with IP partners, developing GTM strategies, oversee the development of launch and sustain assets, coordinate asset approvals, secure earned support, ensuring smooth communication and alignment.
  • Project Management: Assist in managing the publishing project schedule and timelines, ensuring timely delivery of key milestones.
  • Cross Functional Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams and external production agencies to coordinate game launches and update rollouts.
  • Reporting: Help compile launch reports to stakeholders.
  • Event Management: Lead content specific real life events and game demos with key partners.
  • Content Management: Assist with PlayOS Launcher CMS merchandising.
  • Content Production: Drive coordination with external agencies and freelancers on creative production needs.
  • Partner Outreach: Conduct outreach and research on creators.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ Years of Video Game or Entertainment marketing or publishing experience.
  • Proven project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous environments that still require KPI setting and goal meeting.
  • Strong track record of working with cross-functional teams across disciplines such as growth, community, social, creative, product, analytics, and development.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in managing any of the following: product marketing, creative production, social media, influencer/creator programs, or public relations (PR) initiatives.
  • Experience in stakeholder management, preferably reported to C-level executives in a startup environment or Team Lead in corporate settings.
  • Basic knowledge of tools like Figma and Photoshop, or a willingness to learn on the job.
