Job Overview

As a Manager of Customer Insights at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in driving business growth for our clients by providing data-driven insights and strategic recommendations. You will work closely with our sales and account management teams to develop and implement media strategies that drive results. Your expertise in data analysis, storytelling, and project management will be essential in delivering high-quality insights and recommendations to our clients and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops annual strategic learning plans for businesses supported by arenaflex
  • Leads Quarterly Business Review Process with top clients to review media investment performance and identify areas for optimization
  • Serves as a subject matter expert for media performance reporting, providing insights and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders
  • Synthesizes disparate data from multiple sources to develop strategic recommendations for future media investments
  • Oversees the development and codification of best practices in media performance evaluation, data visualization, and standardized reporting
  • Delivers data-driven stories to support sales pitches, case studies, and other key deliverables
  • Oversees omnichannel advertising efforts and aggregates insights to support client-facing teams
  • Partners with Product and Ad Tech teams to provide input on reporting capabilities based on client feedback
  • Integrates knowledge across the Customer Insights & Analytics team to bring relevant insights to arenaflex's leadership and retail media business

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of education, experience, and skills. The essential qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Statistics, Econometrics, Information Sciences, or Applied Quantitative
  • 5 years of experience in insights and analytics, with 3-5 years of experience in retail media or general media analytics
  • Experience in analytical, decision-making, and project management
  • Experience storytelling with data and presenting data stories in a compelling and easy-to-understand way
  • Experience with A/B testing and Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Experience working with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, SQL, or similar tools

Preferred Qualifications

In addition to the essential qualifications, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset:

  • Master's degree in a related field (e.g., Masters in Market Research, Behavioral Psychology, MBA)
  • Leading teams and proven business impact
  • Experience managing global teams
  • Experience working in a retail environment
  • Working with analytic/research software (e.g., SPSS, Wincross, Sawtooth, SAS, Decipher, Qualtrics, etc.)

Compensation and Benefits
