Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Entry Specialist to join our remote team and contribute to the maintenance and update of our company databases and computer systems. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting and entering data in databases, maintaining accurate records of valuable company information, and working closely with our data team and Data Manager to ensure seamless data management processes. Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for the following key tasks:

  • Verifying and logging receipt of data
  • Transcribing source data into the required electronic format
  • Transferring information from paper formats into computer files using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners
  • Performing high-volume data entry using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or other computer software
  • Verifying integrity of data by comparing it to source documents
  • Reviewing data for errors, missing pages, or missing information and resolving any discrepancies
  • Maintaining a filing system and protecting confidential customer information
  • Performing regular backups to ensure data preservation
  • Responding to requests to retrieve data from the database or electronic filing system
  • Using basic office equipment (photocopy machine, facsimile machine, etc.)
  • Maintaining a satisfactory level of quality and productivity per department standards
  • Completing additional assigned tasks as required
  • Preparing, compiling, and sorting documents for data entry

Requirements

To be successful as a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Proven data entry work experience, as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk
  • Experience with MS Office and data programs
  • Familiarity with administrative duties
  • Experience using office equipment, like fax machine and scanner
  • Typing speed and accuracy
  • Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation
  • Attention to detail
  • Confidentiality
  • Organization skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be advantageous for this role:

  • Previous experience working in a data management or customer service role
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data management systems
  • Experience with data analytics or reporting tools
