Responsibilities

As a Licensed Personal Lines Insurance Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Actively listening to and asking questions to identify customer needs
  • Advising on plan options, coverages, and pricing to ensure clients' customers enjoy authentic experiences
  • Processing new and/or amended enrollments with accuracy and efficiency
  • Delivering expert customer experiences with a smile, exceeding customer expectations and building strong relationships
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve routine problems and questions regarding client products and services
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments to provide informed advice and guidance to customers

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 1+ years of customer service experience, preferably in the insurance industry
  • An active Personal Lines resident license to sell insurance
  • A high school diploma or GED
  • Proficiency in fast-paced multi-tasking, with the ability to handle multiple calls and online interactions simultaneously
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing processes
  • A passion for helping others, with a patient and empathetic nature
  • The ability to pass a background check
  • Residency in the United States or a valid U.S. address for residence

Nice-to-Haves

While not required, bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus, with a higher pay rate available for those who can communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking customers.
