Responsibilities and Duties
As an IT Chat Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer service and support to online shoppers through live chat
- Sharing your passion for the brand and its products/services with customers
- Familiarizing yourself with the brand's site and media/searches related to it
- Comparing and analyzing competitor products to provide informed recommendations
- Showing empathy to customers in stressful situations and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experiences
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and product knowledge to provide expert advice
Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 5+ years of experience in the IT industry, with a focus on customer service and support
- Knowledge of large corporate or hospital IT systems, with a strong understanding of top OS and brand environments
- A passion for helping others with large-scale electronic purchasing needs
- The ability to explain complex concepts at a customer's knowledge level
- Strong communication and typing skills, with a minimum of 35 wpm
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities
- A strong understanding of customer service principles and best practices
