Key Responsibilities

  • Type at a minimum speed of 45 words per minute and possess 10-key by touch skills
  • Insert patient and account data into our internal accounting system, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Edit and/or create PDF files or Excel files as required, demonstrating proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Respond to queries for information, accessing relevant files and providing timely, professional responses to hospital partners, patients, attorneys, or other agencies
  • Adhere to HIPAA guidelines, maintaining confidentiality and upholding the highest standards of data integrity
  • Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A High School diploma, with a strong foundation in administrative support and customer service
  • A good working knowledge of MS Office, Windows, and Exchange email, with the ability to learn new systems and applications
  • Excellent customer service skills, including a friendly, courteous, and helpful demeanor
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage competing demands
