Oakhurst Veterinary Hospital, an AAHA-accredited, Fear-Free, Cat-Friendly practice, is seeking passionate and dedicated Overnight Veterinary Technicians to join our modern, state-of-the-art facility near Asbury Park, NJ. Our hospital is a large, well-established general practice with 12 doctors, a vibrant team culture, and a commitment to continuing education, mentorship, and professional growth. • Provide compassionate overnight care to hospitalized patients and medical boarders as the PM Doctors and technician finish up their days and then after hours while the Hospital is closed for appointments and phone calls.
• Monitor, document, and perform treatments on patients at scheduled times.
• Handle emergencies confidently and communicate updates to the on-call veterinarian.
• Operate oxygen/anesthesia machines, monitoring equipment, and utilize electronic medical records.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe hospital environment, including routine cleaning and facility upkeep. Who We're Looking For:
• A CVT or someone with 1-2 years of veterinary technician experience, with confidence in patient care and monitoring.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently as we may have some shifts during slower times of year where only one technician is scheduled, and at other times collaborating with a supportive team.

• Flexible scheduling: 3 × 12-hour shifts or 4 × 10-hour shifts with overnight pay differential.
• Competitive pay: $23-$30/hour based on experience.
