Job Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for communicating with our delivery professionals and guiding them through the onboarding process. This will involve reviewing applications, conducting virtual vehicle safety inspections, and communicating with delivery professionals via text, chat, and email. You will also be responsible for ordering pre-employment background checks and ensuring that all necessary documentation is accurate and up-to-date. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be expected to maintain accurate and detailed records of all onboarding activities, using company software and web-based applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review applications, insurance, and vehicle registration documents for accuracy and eligibility
  • Conduct virtual vehicle safety inspections with qualified driver-applicants (training provided)
  • Communicate with delivery professionals via text, chat, and email about the status of their applications
  • Order driver applicants’ pre-employment background checks using company software
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all onboarding activities, using company software and web-based applications
  • Provide exceptional customer service to delivery professionals, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. You should be self-motivated, able to prioritize multiple tasks, and comfortable with smartphone applications and web-based applications. A strong desire to help people and a positive attitude are essential for this role.

Essential Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or above (preferred, but not required)
  • 1-2 years of experience in recruiting/onboarding gig app workers or working in data entry, HR, or customer service (preferred, not required)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Comfortable with smartphone applications and web-based applications

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a business environment, preferably in a related field such as data entry, HR, or customer service
  • Experience working with company software and web-based applications
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this role is $25,000 to $35,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. This role is available in San Diego, CA, or remotely within the USA. If working from home, you must have access to a reliable internet connection and a working computer. We prefer candidates from the following states: Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, and Virginia. However, we will consider candidates from other states on a case-by-case basis.
