Title: Veterinary Care Representative Location: USA - TX - Virtual Richardson - DF4V Category Customer Service Full time R27970 Job Description: Job Description: Veterinary Care Representative (Remote) Pay: $17.50/hour Remote: Must reside in one of the following states -- Arizona, Florida, Texas Chewy Veterinary Care is hiring full-time Veterinary Care Representatives to support pet parents and veterinary practices through compassionate, high-quality customer service. This role is primarily remote but requires living within a commutable distance to our local-area practices for occasional in-person support. If you enjoy helping others, working with pets, and engaging in meaningful conversations, this could be the purr-fect opportunity!
What You'll Do
- Handle inbound calls from pet parents, veterinary practices, pharmacies, and vendors
- Schedule, reschedule, and manage wellness, sick, surgical, and urgent appointments
- Answer questions about services and assist with appointment-related needs
- Conduct follow-ups and outreach for prior medical requests and authorizations
- Research and resolve customer issues using active listening and problem-solving skills
- Collaborate with teams and leaders using virtual tools (Zoom, Slack)
What You'll Need
- 1-3+ years of small animal veterinary or related industry experience
- Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced, virtual call center environment
- Comfort using multiple computer systems and navigating online resources
- Flexibility to adjust schedule and work overtime as needed
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and pass a background check
Remote & Technical Requirements
- Dedicated, distraction-free workspace suitable for webcam use
- Wired high-speed internet (30 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload minimum)
- Cell phone or tablet for two-factor authentication

- The specific hourly range offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k.
