Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Driver Onboarding Specialist/Data Entry Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our onboarding team, you'll be responsible for reviewing applications, conducting virtual vehicle safety inspections, and communicating with delivery professionals via text, chat, and email. You'll also be responsible for ordering pre-employment background checks using our company software. Responsibilities

As an Experienced Driver Onboarding Specialist/Data Entry Clerk, your key responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing applications, insurance documents, and vehicle registration documents for accuracy and eligibility
• Conducting virtual vehicle safety inspections with qualified driver-applicants (training provided)
• Communicating with delivery professionals via text, chat, and email about the status of their applications
• Ordering driver applicants' pre-employment background checks using company software
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of driver applications and onboarding status
• Collaborating with other team members to ensure seamless onboarding experience for drivers

Experience

While we don't require specific experience in recruiting/onboarding gig app workers or data entry, HR, or customer service, we do look for candidates with:

• Associate's degree or above (preferred, but not required)
• 1-2 years of experience in a business environment (preferred, but not required)

Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
• Self-motivation and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable with smartphone applications and web-based applications
• Strong desire to help people and provide excellent customer service

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $25,000 to $35,000 annually, based on your skills, education, and experience. This role is also eligible for additional benefits, including:

We're based in San Diego, CA, but we're open to remote candidates from the USA. If working from home, you must have access to a reliable internet connection and working computer. This role is not eligible for US visa sponsorship.
